Arboretum

Yes this is a belated post....I am trying to get caught up :) We went back in the fall with a friend in the neighborhood to the Dallas Arboretum.  They had awesome pumpkins and a kids area where Pearse enjoyed petting animals and refused to get his face painted!

We are staying in the big D!

It has been forever since I updated this blog...lots to get caught up on.  This past couple of months have been a roller coaster but we have made it!  We found out a couple weeks before we moved to Austin that they closed the shop where Matt was suppose to go to.  So we ended up taking our house off the market and staying in Dallas!  Luckily I still have my job and Matt will be starting up a new one!  We feel like we can finally relax and get back into the swing of things....lots of early spring cleaning and Pearse has been in heaven this winter playing outside every second he can get!

Thanksgiving

Late post....We went to Abilene for Thanksgiving and the weather was great! Pearse enjoyed yummy food, cousin time, jeep time, and no nap time ;)

Catching Up/Anniversary/Trip/Friends, etc.

It has been a little crazy around here and I need to get caught up on all the happenings...first off Matt and I celebrated our 6th Anniversary on the 30th of October.  We were in Tyler that weekend and totally forgot until his mom sent us a text later on that morning...I know sad right? We ate dinner later that week at Lucia in Bishop Arts..yummy!

 Before heading to Tyler we got to celebrate with one of Pearse's girlfriends Meryl...she is so cute! They had a fun bounce house that P enjoyed after all the other kids left.

We headed out to Tyler to celebrate all of the October/November birthdays!  Had a fun day with my mom and sister shopping and eating lunch..cute hats ;)

 We borrowed an outfit from one of our friends and Liam was a super cute robot and did a cool dance with it! Pearse liked the robot too and tried it on..I think secretly he wished it was his!

 For my birthday I wanted professional pictures taken. They were taken by an amazing photographer in our neighborhood...will have to post pictures when we get the files

 Oh and if we are not adding anything else...P man is potty training!! Wish us luck ;)

TWO!!

We can't believe he is 2!! He enjoyed waking up to balloons in his room, presents waiting for him at breakfast, some yummy donuts, a trip to the science museum, and finishing off with pizza and cookies and ice cream!!

• he loves anything with wheels
• he loves to go on walks and half way through he wants you to pick him up
• he has been using the big boy potty but will only do #1 so far...and enjoys m&m's
• he likes his school and says "bye-bye momma" and runs in
• he has been more protective of his toys now that he is in school
• he is loving to dance and tries to break dance..super cute
• he is talking more and more each day
• he does not sit still until it is time for sleep
• he loves anything to do with chalk, paint, or colors
• he has a special hand shake with his daddy
• he is really into ghost and monsters...he says "not scared"
• he likes to put his face underwater and enjoys showers too
• he is enjoying Winston back home and loves him sooo much!
• he gave his daddy his first "GUNS UP"

State Fair/Family Visit

We had such a good time this past week, Matt's family came from Portland and Abilene and we got to catch up! We all went to the fair and had a good time riding rides, feeding animals, and eating some yummy food. Pearse and I didn't stay too long at the fair because of his nap time and fevers...come to find out the next day he had strep throat!

23 months

• he will be two next month....crazy!
• he has been going to a Mother's Day Out, he loves all the toys, his teacher, and has been taking naps on his mat on the floor....and mama likes the time too;)
• he has to have his car with him at all times even when he sleeps
• he started talking a whole lot!
• he is starting to get into trains
• he knows what he wants and will let you know if you don't get it for him
• Winston has been at Pop-Pop and Memaw's house and he sure misses him.  He still tells Winston about all his toys even though he is not here.
• he likes to try to put on his own shoes
• he now recognizes all his colors and working on his numbers
• loves hanging out with friends and asks about them frequently
• he loves the zoo!
• he started calling his "baba"..."Daddy"
• his food craving this month is yogurt raisins
