20 months

• He enjoys his new tractor from his Memaw!
• He likes making funny faces
• His current favorite food is black olives
• He is eating like a teenage boy....eating everything and snacking all the time
• He loves his cousin Liam and Garrett and gets super excited when they are around
• He likes us copying him.....yelling out different sounds and words and watching us repeat him
• He kisses his own booboo's on his knees
• He likes wearing sunglasses and hats
• He starting to run real fast!
• He likes to "push" when we go to the grocery cart instead of ride in the basket
• He enjoys riding on Winston's back
• He cried the first time I took him to a big pool but now cries when we leave
• He enjoys a good snow cone
• He has been visiting time out lately :(

Fort Collins Part 2

Sorry for the delayed post we have lots going on around here!! Pearse and Josiah enjoyed time together at the mountains, petting zoo, riding bikes (even though Pearse cried most of the time), and the park! Pearse decided he doesn't like airplanes and would shut the window so he couldn't see out.  He finally fell asleep as soon as we landed :)

Fort Collins Part 1

Here are a few pictures from our recent trip to Fort Collins, Colorado to visit some great friends.  We had such a good time and enjoyed the nice weather!! We also enjoyed the mountains, river, parks, and farm! I will post more pictures later from my phone!

19 Months

• He enjoys art time as you can see above! The painted pictures are a new addition to our dinning room!
• He says "Right Back" when people leave
• He enjoys looking at himself in the mirror
• He loves hats and points out everyone that has one on
• Likes tractors..."trac-tor"  and bus
• He gets supper excited about going to the zoo...."Giraffe"
• He is talking up a storm and starting to use 2 words together
• He remembers people's names and likes to point and say their names that are in the room
• We got his old walker down from the attic for the neighbor and he loves to play in it
• His favorite thing to do is play in the sprinklers
• He started to name animals instead of making all the noises
• He still doesn't like his car seat :)
• His favorite show is Yo-Gaba Gaba...and it gives momma time to jump in the shower
• He enjoys going around and giving high-fives in big groups
• He is opening up to people and not so shy
• He is starting to run fast

18 months

 Wow time has gone by really fast Pearse.  We can't believe you are one and a half today!!! We love you so much! This is what you are up to lately:

• Repeating everything we say!
• Enjoy laying on top of Winston
• Saying "Bye-Bye" when we lay you down and shut the door and repeating your self if we say it back all the way across the house
• Likes to look at bugs and poke at them
• Starting to say "poo-poo" when you have a dirty diaper...maybe we need to go by a potty chair for you?
• You want to play with play-dough everyday and get it out of the drawer
• Like it when we chase you around the house but if Mama says "im gonna get you" you run to her
• Loves being outside in the sprinklers
• Likes to go for long walks in the morning
• Can make a lot of animal noises
• You are shy but once you get to know someone you are all about them 
• You enjoy going to the neighborhood playground on Friday's with all your friends
• Love throwing yourself in pillows and especially when your "ba-ba" plays with you
• Enjoy feeding the cat and dog
• You understand everything we say and go get things when asked

Campise Shower

Crafting for the Campise shower: Pearse helping me make a ball garland. I got the felt balls off of etsy and took an upholster's needle and poked holes and threaded them through.

These succulents are from the garden store and bowls from Anthro to make cute center pieces for the shower

There was a cute photo booth at the shower with awesome props provided by the crafty Jen!

David and Kat stayed up late the night before working on some yummy spaghetti and meatballs for the shower

 the Campise's backyard was packed with people!!

 Aimee made this great looking garland and hung it in the backyard!

I am just now getting around to blogging about these two amazing people. We were able to help by throwing a house warming/baby shower for them!! We can't say enough about these two wonderful friends !!! They have been working so hard getting their house together (It looks amazing) and have now been approved to foster some kiddos! They have so much patience and awaiting the perfect kid or kids for them soon!!

17 Months...

 

• he is a picky eater but will always eat a quesadilla and can say "quesadilla"
• his favorite drink is vanilla milk
• he is starting to repeat things we say
• he can say Mama but calls Matt "Ba-Ba"
• he laughs so hard at Winston ( we will have to post video soon)
• he will finally stay in the cart at the grocery store and stroller on walks but hates highchairs at restaurants
• he kicked his first nap and now only takes one long nap in the afternoon
• he likes to walk really fast and can walk on his toes too
• he would rather be outside than any other place
• he got his top canine teeth and is currently working on the bottom canines
• he likes to fix things throughout the house...when he sees a screw he runs and gets his drill
• he is learning more sign language and currently can do; thank you, please, more, bite, finished
• he is obsessed with the lotion bottle and wants a small amount on his hand...he likes to rub it on anyone around and tries to put it in his hair at times

16 Months

• he has been sick on and off the past 3 weeks, currently with a double ear infection but starting to feel better
• he loves playing with play-dough
• he likes to color
• he likes to be Mr. Independent....doesn't want to ride in the cart at the grocery/stores..just wants to walk around and get into everything
• he started saying "thank you" and enjoys talking in his own language
• he loves to have a key and try to open all the doors
• he enjoys laying on top of Winston and going to Winston's toy box and handing him all his toys
• he has learned to hit then gives you a kiss
• he loves to be chased around the house and think it is fun to run from bath time or bed time
• he is still wearing 12 month shirts and 9 month pants...still very tall and skinny
• he puts his arms behind his back after accomplishing something...its really cute

Sick Boy

Poor guy has been running a fever the past 5 days!! We took him to the doctor and he has a virus and an ear infection :(

Austin Trip



This past weekend we traveled to Austin to help out some friends with their house. We also stayed in a nice hotel room with this huge balcony overlooking the State Capital Building.



Snow

 We are getting tired of the cold but have enjoyed Matt being off from work. He was able to stay home to enjoy it!! Pearse liked being outside but was a little dramatic when we put him in the snow!!
