8 Months

• he is army crawling but prefers his walker..and Winston has been replaced by his new walker
• he enjoys the walker in the kitchen so he can open all the cabinets to see what is inside
• he likes to throw balls
• he like to give hi-fives and wave bye-bye
• he likes to smack is lips like a fish
• he shakes his head back and forth and wants you to do it back to him for attention
• he says bababababa...especially when he sees a ball
• he is attached to his mama
• he is waking more in the night....and very hungry...and we are very tired :)
• he likes to snuggle and swing in his chair in his room at night
• he makes this moaning noise when falling asleep

UPDATE: He now has two little teeth on bottom that have made it through the gums. He still is very uncomfortable, but it is getting a little better for him...

7 Months

• he is getting taller and skinnier
• he got a new walker and loves it...tries to get into the cabinets and pulls the trash can over
• he is sitting up on his own
• he is trying to give hi-fives, and likes drumming on things
• he likes to flirt with people by smiling real big when we are out and about
• he likes to turn over when trying to change his diaper
• he loves to walk around while Momma or Dada hold his arms
• his favorite toy is still Winston

Food for Pearse

We have been making all of Pearse's baby food. It is so easy..we just go to Whole Foods about once a month.
Cook or steam the food then put it in the food processor.

Feed Pearse some of it...or put it all over his bib!

And have extra for the rest of the month!!

Deck

Inspiration for our back deck...this week, the air conditioning compressor is being moved so we can get started building our back deck!!

Little Bean Shop

Recently I picked up one of these rattles for Pearse when I visited this shop in Dallas. The online shop doesn't do the actual store any justice...the shop is so cute! If you're ever in the area you should definitely stop by and check it out. and don't forget to browse the little girls dresses, the owner has so many cute designs for baby girls.

Family Photo Day

6 Months

• he is enjoying the weather these days...sitting watching Winston play in the yard, hanging out on the porch, and going for walks/runs!
• he hasn't met a food he doesn't like and whines when we aren't feeding him fast enough!
• he is starting to put everything and anything in his mouth...and drooling all over it!
• he likes to sit on the porch and wait for his dad to come home from work and smiles really big when he sees him!
• he is getting big(ger) cheeks (as seen in the picture)!
• he has been taking really long naps lately!
• he enjoys looking at himself in the mirror!
• he is about to start sitting up on his own...and tends to fall forward if left unattended!
• he loves watching other kids!

Happy Earth Day

Handmade Doll

Our niece Lauren turned 4 on April 1st...so I attempted to make her a doll.

First round didn't go so well....now it is Winston's new toy!

As you can see he really likes it and its stuffing is already coming out of its leg.

After starting all over..here is the final product...hope she likes it!! Got the tutorial from here
